What I mind terribly is that probably 1/3 to 1/2 of the very finely encoded files I try to audio-shift in Avidemux, Avidemux barfs with this disgusting and really useless message, 'Too short - The video has been saved but seems to be incomplete. Got many screencapture, rather large WMV files that get re-encoded using VirtualDub2, just fine, into MP4/h264, when trying avidemux getting the error: Too Short The saved video is incomplete. There are many options for doing this, including Avidemux, all video editors (Kdenlive, Openshot, Shotcut, etc.), and specific applications like VidCutter, Lossless cut, etc. "Lossless cut" - Change ffmpeg argument order so that it correctly cuts at keyframes #13 "linux + smart cutting cut on non key frames" Hi, I use v2.7.0 170905 build win64, want ton convert a video, and get a 'Too short' error message when I click to save (x264 output/audio copy/mkv muxer). Problem 1: Sometimes, the software doesn’t produce sound. There are some really good posts already in this forum on trimming videos, and other video editing tasks. Solution: Enable the sound from the Preferences tab. Problem 2: It crashes a lot when part of video clip is cut off. A multiplexer, or mux for short, is the algorithm that compresses all the images into one file. We use the Pegasus2 R6 on our backup server.Solution: Close the program and run it again. I've been having problems with the server for a few weeks and today finally realized that the Pegasus2 is the problem. The backup server software (Archiware PresSTORE 6) was having problems and the logs showed I/O errors on the RAID. Systems would include backup server problems when copying from the RAID to tape and frozen Finder. I did the following today:Ģ-Started the background activity Media Patrol to ensure that the drives are in good shape. The Pegasus Utility showed it chugging away and there were a few errors of bad sectors and poor resonse to inquiry to drive, but I expected that. But after a while any activity involving the Pegasus2 hung. The Finder works unless I try to look into the RAID. The backups that were in progress stopped. Only the first drive shows activity when I look at the unit so I assum that it is being checked.Īfter a while I decided to shut down the Mac (Mac OS X 10.11.6). After 5 minutes I had to force shut it down. Instead of turning off the Pegasus is still on and the drive activity light is still flickering so I assume that the Pegasus is checking the drive itself, as opposed to the controlling the process.

I turn the Mac back on and the Pegasus2 is not visible the Mac.
